Privacy Policy
Effective date: August 31, 2026
Overview
Tellora, Inc. (“Rimlyn,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) operates the Rimlyn mobile application and related services (the “Service”). This Privacy Policy describes how we collect, use, and share personal information when you use the Service, and the choices and rights you have.
Information we collect
We may collect:
- Account information: name, email, phone number, and authentication data
- Call data: phone numbers, call metadata, audio recordings, transcriptions, and AI-generated summaries
- Contacts: with your permission, to identify callers and display contact names
- Device and usage data: device type, app version, diagnostics, and, if you allow tracking, a device advertising identifier (such as IDFA on iOS)
- Product activity: in-app events such as installs, opens, and subscription purchases, used to operate the Service and, with your permission, to measure advertising
- SMS: mobile numbers and message content for two-way texts and appointment reminders after you opt in
How we use information
We use personal information to:
- Provide calling, recording, transcription, and memory features
- Generate summaries, follow-ups, and searchable call history
- Authenticate users and secure accounts
- Send service-related notifications
- Improve reliability, safety, and product quality
- Improve and train voice AI models that power the receptionist and related speech features, as described below
- Measure the performance of our ads (for example, whether an install or subscription came from a campaign), when you allow tracking
- Comply with legal obligations
SMS and mobile information
When you opt in to text messages from Rimlyn, we collect your mobile phone number, SMS consent, and the content of messages you send or receive so we can provide two-way customer-care texts and appointment reminders. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply.
We do not share, sell, or provide your mobile phone number or messaging consent data to third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Carriers and Twilio receive only what is needed to deliver the message you consented to.
Reply STOP to revoke consent. Reply HELP for help. Details: SMS consent.
How we share information
We do not sell your personal information. We share data with service providers that help us operate the Service, and, if you allow tracking as described below, with advertising partners for measurement. Those parties include:
- Twilio: voice calling, SMS, and phone number services
- Cloud infrastructure and AI providers: hosting, transcription, and language processing
- Apple and Google: sign-in, subscriptions, and payment processing through the App Store and Google Play
- Meta Platforms, Inc. (Facebook): App Events and related advertising measurement. If you allow tracking on iOS, this may include a device advertising identifier linked to your use of the app. See Meta's privacy policy.
We may also disclose information if required by law, to protect rights and safety, or in connection with a merger or acquisition.
Advertising, tracking, and App Tracking Transparency
We use Meta (Facebook) App Events so we can understand whether our ads led to an app install or in-app purchase. That can involve linking a device identifier with data Meta already holds, which Apple treats as tracking.
On iOS, we ask for permission through Apple's App Tracking Transparency prompt before collecting an advertising identifier (IDFA) for this purpose. You can tap Ask App Not to Track and still use Rimlyn. If you decline, we do not use IDFA for tracking. You can change this later in iOS Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking.
We do not use this data to show you third-party ads inside the app. It is used to measure and improve our own marketing.
Call recording
Call recording laws vary by jurisdiction and some require all parties to consent. You are responsible for obtaining any consent required before recording a call. The app provides tools to help you capture and document consent. See our Terms of Service for details.
Voice and AI model training
Your voice, and the voice of people on your calls, may be used to train voice AI models. Call audio, and related transcriptions, may be processed by us and by our voice and language providers to operate the Service and to improve speech recognition, voice generation, and the AI receptionist.
We do not use this audio to train models for unrelated products, and we do not sell recordings. Using the Service means you understand that call audio may be used for this training purpose. If you do not want your voice used this way, do not use calling features, or delete your account as described below.
Data retention
We retain personal information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the Service. Call recordings, transcriptions, and summaries are retained for the period associated with your plan and settings and, by default, are deleted within 90 days unless you choose to save them or a longer period is required by law. When you delete your account, we delete or de-identify your personal data within 30 days, except where we are required to retain it to comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, or enforce agreements.
Your choices and account deletion
You can update account information in the app, manage notification permissions in iOS Settings, and revoke contact access at any time. On iOS you can also control tracking as described above. Subscription management is handled through your Apple ID or Google Play account settings.
You can delete your account and associated data at any time from within the app under Settings, or by emailing hello@tellora.ai.
